Print You Can Feel

We started with a metallic silver cover stock. Everything printed on top picks up that shimmer.

Ink is built up in layers using our UV Gloss to create an emboss-like effect and dimensional feel. Run your thumb over the bookmark to discover the raised areas.

Full-color CMYK inks are printed over the raised layers of the silver metallic media. The colors interact with the reflective silver surface to create a unique iridescent effect with a natural metallic sheen. This shimmer comes from the inks printed directly over the silver substrate, without the need for additional gloss coatings.

To add dimension and contrast, the “Beyond Words” lettering and select brand elements receive multiple passes of clear UV gloss, building additional height and creating a raised, high-gloss finish. This enhances specific design elements while allowing the natural metallic shimmer of the printed silver media to shine through in other areas.

The finished bookmark has two very different sides. The front is all shimmer and texture, with silver cover stock, raised UV gloss and full-color CMYK working together to create something guests want to pick up and feel.

Flip it over and the back is bright, clean white. It features the event honorees and presenting sponsor Bank of America, printed sharp and easy to read. Together, the two sides make a keepsake that celebrates the evening long after November 5.
