At FUSION, we build Web-to-Print systems designed to simplify ordering, protect brand integrity, and control costs. Our platforms come in two forms:

Internal Systems (Password-Protected): Secure portals for enterprises with multiple locations or departments. Only authorized users may access and place orders, ensuring consistent and compliant communications across the company.

External Systems (Outward-Facing): Public-facing sites, like SWAPMaterials.org, where nonprofits, partners, or consumers can directly order branded materials. These systems expand reach while keeping ordering and fulfillment streamlined.

Both systems include reporting and analytics to track usage, spending, and order history. And because we act as an extension of your team, FUSION manages updates, proofing, compliance, and fulfillment — so your marketing and design teams can focus on strategy while we handle the details.

Connecticut Foodshare’s Institute for Hunger & Research Solutions came to us with a business challenge: scaling their SWAP (Supporting Wellness at Pantries) program. SWAP is a stoplight nutrition system that ranks foods as Green (choose often), Yellow (choose sometimes), and Red (choose rarely) based on sodium, saturated fat, and added sugar. The program helps food banks and pantries guide healthier choices and close the food inequity gap.

The initiative grew quickly, and Foodshare could no longer manage phone orders, emails, and manual fulfillment of SWAP kits. That’s where FUSION stepped in. We worked with their team to:

  • Evaluate goals and identify the best print media to keep kits affordable for their partner agencies and pantries.
  • Design and develop an e-commerce strategy and website for streamlined ordering.
  • Create all web graphics, copy, and content.
  • Manage inbound communications and payments on their behalf.
  • Offer co-branding options, enabling partner food pantries to incorporate their own logos.

As demand grew, FUSION expanded fulfillment beyond Connecticut, shipping SWAP Box Kits nationwide. The success of the program ultimately led Foodshare to partner with Feeding America, expanding the initiative’s reach. Through every stage, FUSION remains a trusted partner — providing design, creative, web, and fulfillment support to help the program grow sustainably.
